Fideuram, Italy's largest private bank, reportedly lost more than €95 million after fraudsters used AI-generated voice impersonation to pose as a senior executive and authorize transfers.
It's one of the clearest examples yet of AI voice-cloning fraud moving from a theoretical risk to real financial losses at scale.
